Position 1

FRONT OF HOUSE MANAGER 

Job Responsibilities: Overseeing front-of-house operations, kitchen, staffing, training, customer service, and special/holiday orders.

Required Qualifications: Ability to adapt quickly to new situations and manage staff.

Additional Opportunities: Potential to design and implement the barista menu and contribute to the bakery’s workflow and operations.

Compensation: Ideally, we’d like someone qualified for both FOH manager and barista positions. This dual role offers commensurate pay and the chance to shape the business. Initially, it’ll be long hours, but the manager will hire and train staff to run the business effectively. 

A LITTLE ABOUT THE BAKERY: Charlie’s Bakery, at 10 Fort Salonga Road, Northport 11768, will serve craft ice cream, artisan bread, pastries, and espresso. In-house made items will include savory lunch options in the future. Seating is 14, with no table service. Hours are TBD, likely closed Mondays. Construction is nearing completion, with a public opening near Christmas 2024. Training starts early December.
